Way too slow and bad they should actually try to improve it

Would not connect

I tried connecting to a meeting with this app and it help redirecting me to a Webex meeting app, so I finally gave up and just joined by phone. Very inconvenient as I could no see the shared screen.

Phone service unusable

Constantly disconnects me from the calling service. Getting back in requires either a series of random actions (deliberately using an incorrect password followed by the correct one has worked before) or that I wait over an hour. Whoever sold our IT guys on this product got scammed. Do not use it.

Janky at best

I cannot fathom why this app is rated so highly. It is objectively the worst work messenger option out there, including Teams. - It doesn’t sync settings between devices - requires two apps to handle video calls (sometimes?) - notifications always go to the wrong device. Whichever device is inactive gets notified, so I miss them on the device I’m working on currently. - absolutely bizarre UX decisions left and right This is better than the desktop app, I’ll give it that.

State of the art Meetings

Finally a meeting application which makes use of what the Apple Vision Pro has to offer. Pop Out participants, spatial meetings, 3D meetings, white boarding, Slido, … basically fully featured meetings with best in class quality.

Cannot boot app

App doesn’t even make it past the launch screen anymore. Have to restart 5-6 times and hope it loads. Please restore functionality

Updated app is non-functional

I downloaded the app for a call with a business that uses webex as their video conference provider. It connected the call, but the audio wouldn’t connect with my bluetooth headset nor speaker. All the buttons (audio mute, video on-off) were non-functional during the call. And when I tried to report the bug, it would only accept input if I first created an account. Truly a terrible product, even compared to other video call solutions.

Fix the mirroring

I have an external webcam for my ipad but the video results as mirrored. Would be nice if Webex could fix it.

After update to 44.11.0 the app now stuck during login after SSO acceptance through DUO. Deleted app and reinstalled. No change. No issue logging into desktop version.

Emergency address

Pops up every time I use the app, even though its already entered and does not need to be updated. Slows down the entire app so use another app.

Simple and convenient

I prefer using this mobile app over the desktop app. The simple user interface makes it easy to use. There are a lot of tools and integrations that I personally don’t have the authority to use within my organization, but they look like wonderful tools for upper management or training teams to use. My favorite mobile app feature is the ability to input a specific time for my status and availability features. The desktop app does not currently allow that – it only offers times in increments. So if I am a few minutes late for my break, I can hop on my mobile app to put the actual time that I will return.

Freezing

I use this for work. As of today with the new iPhone 16, I can log in cause the app freezes

App crashes every few seconds

The app crashes while using it actively or when it’s just open. Now can’t even sign in to my account since it freezes. Fix it.

Notification on iPhone

Suddenly I cannot receive sound notifications when someone messages me, via WebEx, on my phone. I’ve done extensive searches to find out why this is happening to no avail. I’ve used every resource to trouble shoot and still do not have a solution. It’s very frustrating when a staff member reaches out via WebEx and I have no idea unless I’m constant checking the app to see if I have a message

Wicked Slow

Slow and non responsive! A full minute will pass before it recognizes ONE number input. FIX THIS NOW

App resets constantly

I have to type a message in less than 5s or app just boots. Having audio or video calls is not even an option of course because the app resets as well without any notice.

Super slow now

The most recent update has ruined the app. 20-30 second delays any time you open it or click on something. And the messages tab in calls doesn’t show up half the time.

I need to utilize the application for work purposes. However, whenever I log into the app on my cell phone, it shuts down as if it is glitching. Is there a fix? Thank you for your assistance.

Missing features

There is no way to schedule a message like the app in the desktop

Amazingly easy to use and consistently great performance

Love the ease of use and integration to multiple services. Great performance every time with Webex AI.

Notifications persist

The app works well but has one issue that is very frustrating; the notification that tells you there is an unread message persists even after reading the message. I have to swipe out and re open the app 3+ times before it goes away. And yes, this continues to happen even after the app “catches up”. Even completely closing it doesn’t fix it on the first go.

App won’t work at all after update.

Keeps giving a pop up page asking me to update even though I have the most current version. Currently unusable. Will update rating when this is fixed.

Can’t access messages on mobile

Started a couple weeks ago. I updated and rebooted. Annoying.

Would have been impressive in 1995

WebEx is so behind, outdated and clunky, it can do a lot but does little well, not at all intuitive and the mobile app has been getting less and less reliable. This latest update is causing constant pop up screens and notifications are gone on Lock Screen. I only use this because my company uses it. Much better communication apps out there

App keeps routing to browser

It’s in a loop and takes me to the browser. Says to download app when app is already downloaded.

Keep kicking out to message someone or not hold screen for more than 1 second

This Webex issues started coming after Sunday and keep kick us out even though delete it. Restarted phone, deleted app, reinstalled back, no luck. Hopefully they resolve ASAP

Just a heads up to those giving bad reviews for the issues of endless loops to the website. This is not an issue with the app. This is our company blocking access from unapproved devices. Gave 1 star myself just so others will come across this and know.

Huge downgrade in functionality. I can’t join a meeting from my phone. I can’t call in. Extremely frustrating and low usability!

This app is great

My friend had originally introduced me to this app to just talk with her since I didn’t have her number overtime I got a whole bunch of my friends numbers and it’s actually fun when we call We could change each other‘s names , we could mute each other , and turn off there cameras which is actually really funny. On Webex we are able to have group chats where we can all talk and call.

Perfect app

I use Webex Teams with everything on a PC and mobile, with Cisco video end points. Every month it is getting better and better. Cisco has the best collaboration portfolio, and I love how it integrates with Microsoft Office and file sharing solutions. Way better than Microsoft Teams.

Stuck in a perpetual boot loop.

I heavily rely on this app for my current role and need it to facilitate phone calls. More of than I would like, and frankly more often than it should be the app crashes and repeats this loop of going to the app web page and having me open the app. It loops me into this over and over. Sometimes i get lucky and can make a conference call or delete a voicemail. I’m always sure to update to new versions.

Clunki-fied update

I use Webex daily, and the new update has made using this app far more difficult. The interactivity tools are now buried underneath an ellipses which does not respond reliably to tapping, and therefore does not reliably open. The call in process is far more cumbersome, with confusing prompts and far more taps than previously. Being able to quickly and reliably access the tools within WebEx, whether that’s quickly changing my audio or being able to respond immediately with a reaction, is my priority as a user. I really hope that future updates will address these challenges.
